College Baseball Daily continues our countdown to the start of the 2012 College Baseball season by checking in on the Top 100 Players in the country. We will be providing one player per day until we reach number 1.

We continue the countdown today at number 48 with Oklahoma redshirt sophomore LHP Jordan John. The 6’3 200 pound southpaw is from Corpus Christi, Texas and attended Calallen High School where he won three letters playing under Steve Chapman. As a senior, he went 13-0 striking out 125 with a microscopic ERA of 0.26 in 82 innings pitched. He was named USA Today First Team All-American, district MVP and all-state.
