The CBB continues our countdown to the start of the 2011 College Baseball season by checking in on the Top 100 Players in the country. We will be providing one player per day until we reach number 1.
We continue the countdown today at number 93 with Arizona junior catcher Jett Bandy. He is from Thousand Oaks California where he attended Thousand Oaks High School. He had an outstanding career as he won four letters for head coach Frank Mutz. He hit .362 as a senior with six home runs, 21 doubles and 54 RBI. He also won several awards including being named Marmonte League MVP in senior season and Ventura County Player of the Year as a senior. He also was named First Team All-Marmonte League as a junior and senior and Second Team All-Marmonte League as a sophomore. He was selected in the 41st Round of the 2008 MLB First Year Player Draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers with the 1,237th overall pick but ended up not coming to an agreement with the Dodgers opting to attend Arizona.
