Boston College sophomore RHP Mike King pitched a complete game shutout on Friday to improve the Eagles record to 19-18 and 7-11 in the highly competitive ACC.

THE FLATS – The 2014 ACC Champion Georgia Tech baseball team has released its 2015 schedule, highlighted by 31 home games, a renewal of rivalries versus Auburn, Clemson and Notre Dame, and 23 games against nine teams that reached last year’s NCAA Regional.

OXFORD, Miss. – Matt Gonzalez broke a 1-1 tie with a two-out, two-run double in the ninth inning as No. 25 Georgia Tech rallied to stave off elimination Sunday with a 4-2 win over Jacksonville State in the NCAA Oxford Regional.

Ole Miss 41-18
After being picked 6th in the SEC West in pre-season polls, the Rebels exceeded all expectations, winning the division with a 19-11 record and being in the discussion of a national seed. Their hopes of being one of the top eight fell short, but Ole Miss is hosting a regional and have a team that’s very reliable on both sides of the ball. Despite a very strong pitching staff featuring Chris Ellis (2.17 ERA) and Christian Trent (2.44 ERA) who combined to go 15-1 on the season, what the Rebels do offensively is what is so impressive. To put it bluntly, the Boston College Eagles were out of their element in ACC conference play in 2013. The Eagles lost their first 20 conference games before surprisingly winning a home series with Miami to get off the schnide.
