Baseball America releases 2011-2012 Recruiting Class Rankings

Baseball America has released their 2011-2012 Recruiting Class rankings for the class that will be eligible for the start of the 2012 season. Leading the pack is the Vanderbilt Commodores which got a first round pick in Tyler Beede among other talented players to Nashville. The rest of the top five is filled out by Texas, Southern Miss, NC State, and Ole Miss.

2011 Semifinalists for Pitcher of the Year

Sixteen teams are looking toward the Super Regionals and among those teams are seven players on the College Baseball Hall of Fame’s Pitcher of the Year Semifinalist List.

The Fresno State Bulldogs were “rewarded” for their WAC Regular Season and Tournament Titles with a #2 seed at Jackie Robinson Stadium. USA Baseball Announces 30 Semifinalists for 2011 Golden Spikes Award
