After much consideration, the Bethune-Cookman University Associate Head Baseball Coach announced he has turned down the head coaching position at Florida A&M, and remain in the Wildcat program he played for during its most successful season in 2002 and has help developed into a respected post-season Division I contender.

Wildcat sophomore LHP Ali Simpson was named the pre-season pitcher of the year and senior C. J. Lauriello was named the co-player of the year in the voting by conference head baseball coaches and sports information directors.

He looked at every start from around the nation and figured out which schools treat their pitchers the best in terms of pitch counts while other schools abuse their pitchers with insane pitch counts.
