CBD Opinion: Stop Grandstanding Miami!

MiamiDisappoinmentSmallI am absolutely tired of writing about these “Steroid” or “Performance-Enhancement” Drugs in College Baseball or any baseball. This has absolutely killed my interest in pro baseball and it is starting to filter into the college game. When I started writing on College Baseball many years ago, I was one of the few that actually covered the Steroid scandal with the Duke baseball team under former head coach Bill Hillier. 2013 Preseason ACC Coaches Poll

Mark Hayes added to Duke Coaching Staff

DURHAM, N.C. – Mark Hayes is set to join to the Duke baseball staff, serving as a volunteer assistant coach, as announced by head coach Chris Pollard. Hayes’ responsibilities will include serving as the hitting coach for the Blue Devils as well as working with the outfielders, coaching third base during games and managing the program’s camps. Duke adds Josh Jordan to Coaching Staff

Duke to name Chris Pollard as Head Coach


Chris Pollard will be named the new head coach at Duke University according to CBD sources and later confirmed by Aaron Fitt of Baseball America.
