We continue the countdown today at number 29 with Georgia Tech sophomore Daniel Palka. The Lyman, South Carolina native was a five year letter winner at Greer High School under head coach Bob Massullo. In 2010, hit .470 with 14 home runs and 32 RBIs while posting a 1.80 ERA on the mound while being named All-State twice (2009 and 2010) and four-time all-area member (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010). CAPE COD, Mass. – Commissioner Paul Galop has announced the 2011 Cape Cod Baseball League All-League Team.
Heading the list of positional players is CCBL Most Valuable Player Travis Jankowski (Stony Brook) of Bourne, who hit .329 with 22 RBIs for the Bourne Braves, along with batting champion Stephen Piscotty (Stanford) of Yarmouth-Dennis, who hit .349, edging out fellow All-League catcher Dane Phillips (Oklahoma State) of Chatham by a mere .0002.
