Boston College participates Red Bandanna Run

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College baseball team took part in the seventh annual Welles Remy Crowther Red Bandanna Run on October 15 to support the Welles Remy Crowther Charitable Trust.

Texas Tech Participates in Race For The Cure

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech baseball program was among over 8,000 participants at the 2011 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on Saturday morning at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

BLACKSBURG, Va. – Virginia Tech baseball will continue its “19 Ways” initiative, which was a challenge for the baseball team to find 19 ways to make a difference. Cincinnati Welcomes Alex Massengill To Bearcat Family

CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati baseball team has adopted 10-year-old cancer survivor Alexander Massengill as an honorary teammate through The Friends of Jaclyn Foundation, head coach Brian Cleary announced Wednesday.

URI Participates in Southern New England Autism Walk

KINGSTON, R.I. – On Sunday, Sept. 18, the Rhode Island baseball team took part in the 2011 Southern New England Walk Now for Autism Speaks event, held at Colt State Park in Bristol, R.I. It marked the fifth consecutive year that the Rams participated in the walk.

Missouri and Iowa to face off for Joplin Little League

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Mizzou baseball program has teamed with the Daniel Boone & Diamond Council Little Leagues, BC Baseball and The Callaway Bank to host the University of Iowa in pair of fall exhibition games that will benefit the Joplin Little League program in its efforts to rebuild the program following the devastating tornado that hit the area back in May. The games will be played on Oct. 8-9 at Taylor Stadium and tickets are just $5 with all proceeds going directly to the City of Joplin Little League program.
