Here are some of my thoughts from college baseball action that took place on March 29th.
- Congrats to Will Roberts of Virginia for throwing a perfect game on Tuesday against the George Washington Colonials. Roberts struck out 10 batters getting three flyouts and 14 groundouts. The perfect game was only the 19th in NCAA Division 1 baseball history at any length and the first by a UVA pitcher in school history. It was also the first in Division 1 since 2002. Interesting enough, the second to last sentence of the George Washington press release is the first mention they make about the perfect game being tossed.
