Pac-12 Weekend Preview (March 1st-3rd)

In preparing for the weekend, I caught up with Oregon State head coach Pat Casey to talk about his thoughts on how the season has gone so far for the Beavers. Oregon State is 8-0 and off to their best start since 1962. “Obviously when you start 8-0, you feel like you did a lot of things well,” Casey said. We played fairly well on the defensive side of the game. I think we could have swung the bats better.” The Beavers enter the weekend with a .297 team batting average, but will look to improve upon that number against a team in Bryant who has only played three games this season. CBD Weekend Preview: Florida vs Kentucky

As the end of the regular season fast approaches, two of the country’s top teams will battle it out in Lexington, Kentucky this weekend when the Kentucky Wildcats host the Florida Gators in a three game SEC series.

Number 7 ranked Kentucky enters with a record of 36-9 and 14-7 in SEC play which is good enough to put them in a three way tie with LSU and South Carolina to lead the SEC, and the program is off to their best start to a season and in league play in the long history of the school.
