College Baseball Daily continues our countdown to the start of the 2012 College Baseball season by checking in on the Top 100 Players in the country. We will be providing one player per day until we reach number 1.
We continue the countdown today at number 20 with Georgia Tech junior RHP Buck Farmer. The Conyers, Georgia native attended Rockdale High School where he was a four year letterwinner and a three time captain under coach Casey Martin. He was named All-State, All-District and All-Area all four years of high school (2006-2009) while posting an ERA of 2.02 as a senior and 1.50 as a junior. He broke the school record for strikeouts in a game in 2008 when he struck out 22 against Dacula High School. He was drafted by his hometown Atlanta Braves in the 45th round of the 2009 MLB Draft Pick but elected to enroll at Georgia Tech. Continue reading Top 100 Countdown: 20. Buck Farmer (Georgia Tech)
