TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Geoffrey Bramblett threw a complete-game shutout to lead the Alabama Crimson Tide to a 6-0 victory over the Georgia Southern Eagles on Sunday afternoon from Dick Howser Stadium. Following the win, Alabama will play the Kennesaw State Owls tonight at 4 p.m. CT. Alabama will need to defeat the Owls twice to win the Tallahassee Regional. PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Nathan Kirby (So., Midlothian, Va.) threw a no-hitter in the No. 1-ranked Virginia baseball team’s 4-0 victory at Pittsburgh Friday evening at Charles Cost Field. Kirby struck out 18 batters, one off the school and ACC single-game record, in UVa’s first no-hitter since 2011.
