2013 America East Preseason Coaches Poll

AmericaEastLogoCAMBRIDGE, Mass.— After a historic run to the College World Series, reigning America East champion and back-to-back regular-season title holder Stony Brook University was picked first in the 2013 America East Preseason Coaches’ poll as determined by a vote by the league’s six head coaches who were not allowed the vote for their own teams. Albany releases 2013 Schedule

ALBANY, N.Y. – The University at Albany baseball program, led by head coach Jon Mueller in his 13th year at the helm, has announced a 54-game slate for the 2013 season. The Great Danes will play 13 games against teams that made NCAA Tournament appearances a year ago, including SEC powerhouse South Carolina, who won the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship in 2010 and 2011, and finished 2012 as the nation’s runner-up. Stony Brook releases 2013 Schedule

Stony Brook, N.Y. – Games against six 2012 NCAA Tournament teams highlight Stony Brook baseball’s 2013 schedule, coach Matt Senk announced on Thursday.

Stony Brook, which “Shocked The World” on its way to the College World Series, finished last season ranked seventh by Baseball America. The Seawolves won an NCAA-best 52 games in 2012, and had seven players who earned All-America or Freshman All-America honors, including Travis Jankowski who was named ABCA/Rawlings National Co-Player of the Year and a first team All-American by the National College Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) and Baseball America.
