The 2010 Southwestern Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament will be played at Shreveport, LA’s Fair Grounds Field, Commissioner Duer Sharp announced today.
This year’s tournament will be played May 26-30, with the top four teams in each of the SWAC’s Eastern and Western Divisions qualifying for Conference postseason play.
The SWAC Baseball Tournament returns to Fair Grounds Field for the first time since 2002. The park is home of the Shreveport-Bossier Captains of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball
With the start of DIV I College Baseball Season 4 weeks a way, Schools are still finalizing their 2009 Schedule. Today we have Purdue, Alabama State, Central Connecticut, Grambling State, North Carolina A&T State, New York Tech, and Southern. CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Freshman catcher Yasmani Grandal drove in the game-winning run after junior Dave DiNatale hit a two-run game-tying single in the bottom of the eighth as No. 2 Miami rallied to defeat Bethune-Cookman, 7-6, Wednesday night at Mark Light Field.
