UMass releases 2015 Schedule

RyanFranczekUMass.jpgAmherst, Mass. – Four weekend series at Earl Lorden Field, the return of the Boston Beanpot finals to historic Fenway Park and non-conference matchups against Kentucky and Florida Gulf Coast highlight the 2015 UMass baseball schedule, which was announced on Monday.

The Minutemen will open their 2015 campaign on March 3 when they head to New Britain, Conn. , to square off against Central Connecticut before heading south to Lexington, Ky., for a four-game set with the 2014 NCAA tournament qualifying Kentucky Wildcats March 6-8. Rider releases 2015 Schedule

RiderCoach_thumb.jpgLAWRENCEVILLE, NJ—The Rider University baseball team will take on one of its toughest schedules in recent years, highlighted with trips to North Carolina and Ohio, while taking part in the Liberty Bell Classic which culminates at Citizen’s Bank Park.

“Taking into consideration the opponents’ 2014 RPI’s, it is one of the toughest schedules in the league,” said Rider head coach Barry Davis. “We have a veteran team this year so this is the year to play a schedule like this. Coppin State releases 2015 Schedule

BALTIMORE, Md. – Head coach Sherman Reed and the Coppin State University baseball team has announced its schedule for the 2015 season. The spring slate is highlighted by 20 home games at Joe Cannon Field, trips to Florida, Kentucky and South Carolina along with home-and-home non-conference contests against Georgetown, Lehigh, George Washington and UMBC. Missouri releases 2015 Schedule

TimJamiesonMissouri_thumb.jpgCOLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou baseball and head coach Tim Jamieson have announced the team’s 2015 schedule on Friday (Jan. 16). In all, the Tigers are slated to play 10 Southeastern Conference series and have 31 home dates on this season’s schedule. In SEC play, fans will get to see the Tigers play weekend home series against South Carolina, defending SEC Champion Florida, Alabama, Ole Miss and Kentucky. In all, Mizzou will play 19 games and six weekend series against teams that qualified for NCAA Regional action a year ago.

Delaware State releases 2015 Schedule

Dover, Del. (Jan. 14, 2015) — Delaware State University has released its baseball schedule for the 2015 season. The Hornets’ 49-game regular season slate includes 21 contests at Soldier Field on the DSU campus.

The Hornets will open the 2015 season on the road with a four-game series at Presbyterian University in Clinton. S.C., beginning Feb. 13. The teams will play a doubleheader on Feb. 14, and wrap up the series with a single game on Feb. 15. Continue reading Delaware State releases 2015 Schedule

Butler releases 2015 Schedule

ButlerLogoSmallINDIANAPOLIS — The Butler baseball team’s 2015 schedule has been unveiled by Head Coach Steve Farley after posting an overall record of 20-30 in the 2014 season, while going 7-11 in BIG EAST play. The Bulldogs will return junior infielder Chris Maranto and his .309 batting average with hopes of qualifying for the 2015 BIG EAST Conference Tournament at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Neb., which will be held May 21-24, 2015. VillanovaTeamPhotoVILLANOVA, Pa.–Head coach Joe Godri, who begins his 14th year leading the Wildcats, announced his team’s schedule for the upcoming 2015 season on Tuesday afternoon. Villanova will play at least 24 home games during the regular season, with the 55-game schedule highlighted by six consecutive home weekends in March and April.

A large non-conference slate (37 games) gives the Wildcats a chance to face strong competition from around the country while taking the field against both traditional rivals and brand new opponents. When the calendar turns to the beginning of conference play, Villanova will play 18 regular season BIG EAST games and vie for one of four spots in the postseason conference tournament. Kentucky releases 2015 Schedule

HendersonWideShotKentuckyLEXINGTON, Ky. — The Kentucky baseball team will play 56 regular season games as part of its 2015 schedule, including 32 games at Cliff Hagan Stadium and 30 games in the Southeastern Conference, it was announced by seventh-year head coach Gary Henderson on Thursday.

“We are excited about our 2015 schedule,” Henderson said. “When we start working on the schedule, it is important for us to find challenging non-conference matchups to help us get ready for the great 30-game SEC schedule.
