The fourth player on our Top 100 countdown is Evansville’s Kyle Freeland. The 6’3 Denver, Colorado native broke out as a key player to watch in 2013 after a fantastic summer playing in the Alaska Baseball League.

On Friday, the Connecticut Huskies returned to J.O. Christian field for the first time since mid-May for the annual UConn Baseball Scout Day. Coming off a 31-27-1 season, which ended in a Big East Tournament loss to USF, the 2013 Huskies will have many young players who are poised to compete for starting jobs. 2012 Baseball America Top Prospects for Summer Leagues

DURHAM, N.C.–The Southeastern Conference once again dominated Baseball America’s top prospects lists for 20 college summer leagues and Team USA, which have been released at BaseballAmerica.com. The SEC leads all conferences with 31 players on the lists, followed by the Pacific-12 (24 players), the Atlantic Coast (16) and the Big 12 (13).
