Coming in at number 77 is Michigan junior outfielder Michael O’Neill. The 6’1 195 pounder is a graduate of Olentangy Liberty where he was a three year letter winner while being named first team All-Ohio. Continue reading

Checking in at number 78 is Kent State junior RHP Tyler Skulina. The 6’6 235 pound righty hails from Strongsville, Ohio and attended Walsh Jesuit High School. He went a perfect 26-0 in his high school career while being named a first team All-American in 2009 and honorable mention in 2010. He was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 46th round but decided to head to the University of Virginia. Continue reading

Checking in at number 79 is Boston College junior outfielder Tom Bourdon from Simsbury, Connecticut. The 5’11 187 pounder graduated from Northwest Catholic High School. As a senior, he batted .465 with six homers, 26 RBIs and 13 steals. The Boston Red Sox selected him in the 38th round but he decided to continue his career at Boston College. Continue reading

We continue the countdown today at number 80 with Vanderbilt junior outfielder Tony Kemp. He is a 5’6 165 pounder out of Nashville, Tennessee while attending Centennial High School. Kemp was a four year letter winner in football and baseball while being named All-District selection three years, All-Tournament Team as a junior and senior, and First team All-Midstate as a junior and senior.

Coming in at 81 in our Top 100 countdown is Stanford sophomore infielder Alex Blandino from Palo Alto, California. He attended St. Francis High School where he was a four year letter winner. As a senior, he hit .511 with nine homers, 39 RBIs, and 33 runs scored. On the mound, he went 4-1 with a 2.18 ERA in 45 innings pitched. He picked up several awards including the San Jose Mercury News and Palo Alto Daily News Player of the Year, Cal-Hi Sports state player of the year, and Rawlings Golden Glove award winner. We continue the countdown today at number 82 with Florida State junior shortstop Justin Gonzalez. The Miami, Florida native attended Christopher Columbus High School where he was a three year letter winner. He picked up Under Armour All-American honors in 2007 and a second team Preseason All-American infielder by Louisville Slugger in 2008. He was drafted in the 46th round by the Houston Astros in the 2009 MLB Draft but decided to continue his career at Florida State. Continue reading

MichaelLorenzenFeaturedIConTUCSON, Ariz. — The 2013 Louisville Slugger pre-season All-American baseball teams, selected by Collegiate Baseball newspaper, features a who’s who of NCAA Division I baseball players.

The projected National Player of The Year is CF/RHP Michael Lorenzen of Cal. St. Fullerton. Last season, he recorded 16 saves and a 1.23 ERA as a pitcher and hit .297 with 20 doubles, 43 RBI and 14 stolen bases. Continue reading
