As we’re now well into the 2013 college baseball season, College Baseball Daily continues our countdown to Selection Monday with our latest 2013 Regional Projections.
This week’s projections return to if the tournament started today scenario. We will be releasing an updated bracket after the games on Sunday at 8pm to give you our latest projected bracket before Selection Monday. (OMAHA, Neb. May 7, 2013) – Fans attending the 2013 NCAA® Men’s College World Series® (CWS) at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha can expect a number of changes inside and outside the stadium, from new starting times for games and enhanced use of instant replay, to changes around the stadium.
The first change centers on game times reverting back to the start times the College World Series was accustomed to the previous few years, beginning at 2 and 7 p.m. Central Time for the majority of the Series. The season hasn’t kicked off yet but it is time to start looking at how a potential 64 team bracket would look right now based on our preseason expectations of each conference. The last two years, we have hit on 20 out of 31 hosts (ASU appeal is the outlier). Remember, that these are just based on our projections and expectations for what we will happen come May 27th.
