TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – For the first time since 1999, the Texas A&M baseball team is headed to Omaha, Neb., and the College World Series as Monday the Aggies punched their ticket with an 11-2 victory over Florida State during the deciding game of the NCAA Tallahassee Super Regional.

(Seminoles.com) – Sophomore shortstop Justin Gonzalez’s three-run moonshot in the sixth inning broke open a game that was still within Texas A&M’s reach as the Florida State baseball team forced a decisive winner-takes-all game on Monday with a 23-9 victory over Texas A&M on Sunday evening in the NCAA Super Regionals at Dick Howser Stadium.
