SE Missouri State releases 2011 Schedule

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO. – Southeast Missouri State baseball coach Mark Hogan has released the schedule for the 2011 season.

The Redhawks will open up the season in Lafayette, La. against Louisiana-Lafayette. The season will begin on Friday, February 18 at 6 p.m. “Louisiana-Lafayette has a very storied program, and this early test will not only help us, but give our injured players from last season a competitive early matchup,” said coach Hogan. St. Mary’s releases 2011 Schedule

Moraga, CA- The Saint Mary’s baseball team’s 2011 schedule includes early season road trips to Oregon, Southern California, and Utah, along with West Coast Conference road series at San Francisco, Gonzaga, and Pepperdine. The Gaels will play host to 26 games at Louis Guisto Field including non-conference series’ against UC Irvine and New Orleans, and WCC contests against Santa Clara, San Diego, Portland and Loyola Marymount. The schedule features 11 games against teams that reached the 2010 NCAA Tournament (Oregon, UC Irvine, UCLA, Stanford, and San Diego). Continue reading

Central Michigan releases 2011 Schedule

MOUNT PLEASANT — Early season trips to Florida and Las Vegas, a four-game set at Missouri and home games against Michigan and Michigan State highlight the 2011 Central Michigan baseball schedule.

The defending Mid-American Conference champion Chippewas (36-22 in 2010) open the year with a three-game set against Florida Gulf Coast before heading west for a four-game series against UNLV. Continue reading

Western Michigan releases 2011 Schedule

KALAMAZOO, Mich.- The Western Michigan baseball program has released its 2011 schedule, which features 18 home games. The Broncos will also play non-conference regional rivals Michigan, Michigan State and Notre Dame.

Western Michigan is going to be well-tested on the road, as the Broncos will have 24 games under their belt before their first home game on April 1. WMU opens the season with four games at the Red Rider Classic in Lubbock, Texas, Feb. 18-20, before making its annual Spring trip down to Florida. Continue reading

Austin Peay releases 2011 Schedule

CLARKSVILLE – Austin Peay State University’s baseball team recently wrapped up its fall practice schedule and head coach Gary McClure announced the program’s 2011 schedule, Thursday.

The Govs concluded their fall schedule before Thanksgiving and spent the largest portion of the slate bringing their 16 newcomers into the fold. In addition, Austin Peay saw seniors Jack Snodgrass and Ryne Harper, junior Greg Bachman and freshman Alex Belew return to the team after missing portions of the 2010 campaign. Continue reading
