Kansas Baseball Unveils 2011 Schedule

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas head baseball coach Ritch Price announced Wednesday that the Jayhawks’ 2011 schedule has been finalized. The 55-game regular season includes 27 contests at Hoglund Ballpark, including games against Big 12 rivals Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Nebraska and Kansas State.

Dailey The defending Southeastern Conference Western Division champion Auburn baseball team will play 26 games against teams that made the 2010 NCAA Tournament as the team released the 2011 schedule on Thursday. Auburn will play a total of 33 games at home, beginning with the season-opener against Arkansas State on Friday, Feb. 18 at 6pm.

Pepperdine releases 2011 Schedule

MALIBU, Calif. – Pepperdine won’t have to wait until 2012 to get West Coast Conference newcomer Brigham Young University on its schedule because the Cougars will be heading west to Eddy D. Field Stadium at the end of March.

The widely anticipated three-game series between two of the nation’s most prominent private faith-based institutions will take place Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 31 to April 2. Pepperdine and BYU have faced each other once in the last decade – a 5-0 road victory for BYU in February of 2004 – but regularly battled throughout the 1950’s and 1960’s with the Waves winning 13 of 18 meetings.

Arizona State releases 2011 Schedule

ASU Baseball Arizona State Baseball will begin its quest for its sixth National Championship on February 18th when the Sun Devils host the New Mexico Lobos at Winkles Field- Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark in the 2011 Season Opener. Announced today by head coach Tim Esmay, the 2011 schedule features 33 games at Winkles Field-Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark.

The Sun Devils will play 34 games against teams that advanced to the 2010 NCAA Tournament, including Oklahoma and UCLA, who both advanced to the 2010 College World Series. ASU will host both the Sooners (March 15-16) and the Bruins (May 27-29) in Tempe.

BYU Releases 2011 Schedule

BYULogo Five schools that played in last season’s NCAA Tournament are on the 2011 BYU baseball schedule.

TCU, New Mexico, Arizona State, Oregon and Washington State were part of the NCAA tournament last season.

“We are excited to announce our schedule for the 2011 season,” said BYU coach Vance Law. “Once again Coach (Bobby) Applegate has done a terrific job in scheduling some quality programs from outstanding conferences.

The following weekend, they will start a eight game road trip through Louisiana playing Southeastern Louisiana for four games, LSU once, and the heading to Mississippi State.

UCLASchedule LOS ANGELES – The UCLA baseball team has released its 2011 schedule, which features 25 games against teams that advanced to the 2010 NCAA Tournament, as announced by seventh-year head coach John Savage. UCLA opens the season with a three-game home series against San Francisco on Friday, Feb. 18.
