LITTLE ROCK – Junior Tyler Buckley pitched four scoreless innings to help the Maroon Team even UALR’s Fall World Series with a 2-1 victory over the Silver Team Wednesday afternoon at Gary Hogan Field. ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) – Trailing by as many as three runs in Game 2 of the Black and Gold World Series, the Black team never faltered, rallying for a three-run eighth inning to top the Gold team, 5-4, Thursday afternoon from the baseball complex. LITTLE ROCK – A two-out rally in the top of the third helped the Silver Team claim a 4-3 win in the opener of the UALR Fall World Series Tuesday evening at Gary Hogan Field. KALAMAZOO, Mich.- Brown struck for three runs in the first inning and never looked back, clinching the annual Brown & Gold series with a 10-5 win in decisive Game 3. Darkness forced the suspension of Game Two in the Keaney-Navy World Series on Friday evening, but when play resumed on Saturday, sophomore Joe Landi scored on redshirt junior Pat Fortunato’s single up the middle to give Keaney the 3-2 win, as well as its fifth consecutive KNWS title. Cal-State Fullerton 10 Vanderbilt 8
Nashville, Tenn. – Greg Velazquez had two hits and three RBI and Austin Kingsolver had three hits and drove in two as Cal State Fullerton beat Vanderbilt, 10-8, in a nine-inning fall scrimmage Saturday morning at Hawkins Field.
The Titans are midway through their official fall workout period and made the trip to Nashville, Tenn., for a two-game practice series with the Commodores. Vanderbilt is wrapping up their official practice schedule this weekend with the Titans. Continue reading

HUNTINGTON, W.VA. – The Marshall baseball team started the annual Fall World Series on Friday afternoon and Coach Waggoner’s green team ran away with it in the end against Coach Blain’s black team, 5-2.
