Boyd’s World has put out their 2010 Strength of Schedule rankings. The Baylor Bears come into the season with the toughest schedule in the country with UCLA coming in at the second spot. USA Today/ESPN finish the Preseason rankings today with as they release their Top 25 which is led by Texas coming in at number 1 receiving 18 out of 31 first place votes. Texas finished last season with a second place finish in the College World Series. LSU defeated the Longhorns in the College World Series to bring home the title and come in at number 2 in the poll. Baseball America has published their Top 25 for the 2010 Season. They have put Texas in the top spot with Virginia coming in at number 2. They have put defending national champion LSU in the third spot. Cal-State Fullerton and Rice round out the Top 25. I have posted the rest of the Top 25 below.

TUCSON, Ariz. — The University of Texas is the pre-season favorite to capture the 2010 College World Series, according to Collegiate Baseball newspaper’s Fabulous 40 NCAA Division I pre-season baseball poll.
The Longhorns, which finished second at the College World Series last year, are absolutely loaded with superb pitching, including three Louisville Slugger pre-season All-Americans in RHP Taylor Jungmann (11-3, 2.00 ERA, 101 K, 35 BB), RHP Chance Ruffin (10-2, 115 K, 25 BB) and RHP Cole Green (5-3, 3.34 ERA, 85 K, 34 BB, who is expected to be drafted in the first three rounds of next June’s Free Agent Draft).
