2008 NCBWA Final Poll

DALLAS, Texas – After finishing its historic postseason run with a 6-1 victory over Georgia on Wednesday night to win the College World Series, Fresno State finishes the 2008 season ranked No.1 in the final National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association poll.

The NCBWA continued its tradition of NCAA Division I polls for the 11th year with its 2008 weekly surveys. Weekly polls have been circulated from Feb. 25-June 26 following the NCAA World Series in Omaha, Neb. Continue reading 2008 NCBWA Final Poll

NCBWA May 26 Division I poll

DALLAS – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association continues its tradition of NCAA Division I polls for the 11th year with its 2008 weekly surveys. Polls will be circulated from Feb. 25-June 30 following the NCAA World Series in Omaha, Neb. All 30 of the ranked teams and several receiving votes are head for the 16 NCAA Regionals Friday-Sunday/Monday, and the Top 30 includes 12 conference champs.
