I am a former Stanford All-American baseball player & was drafted by the New York Yankees in 1979 & 1983. I understand that you put together the college Ivy League baseball preview with a projected Player of the Year. With that said, I would highly recommend Ryan Zrenda of Brown University (3B ~ 6’2″ 200lbs). In 2010, Ryan’s average was .423 in Ivy League play and was the leader in most offensive categories (HR, 1st; SLG%, 2nd at .808; total bases, 2nd; hits, 3rd). Overall, Ryan hit .357 with 11 HR, 13 doubles, a triple, & 30 RBI.nThank you again for your consideration.nSincerely, nMike DotterernSan Francisco, CAnph: 415-894-2432

Do you see any chance of D1 Independent Dallas Baptist U getting a regional bid. They have key wins against Oklahoma, Rice, Oklahoma State and two wins against TCU. They are currently 30-13 but have a tough few weeks coming up with Texas Tech, Texas A&M and Charlotte.
