NC State senior catcher Danny Canela has transferred to Lee University according to multiple sources close to the situation. Canela was expected to backstop the Wolfpack this season after leading the team in hitting with a .348 batting average with six homers and 48 RBI.
Georgia freshman pitcher Kyle Carter has decided to transfer to a junior college according to an article from WTVM.com. Carter was suspended by Georgia head coach David Perno for the first 18 games of the 2013 season after being arrested in November for charges of public intoxication and underage possession of alcohol.
