Top 100 Countdown: 83. Danny Collins (Troy)

We continue the countdown today at number 83 Danny Collins from Troy University. The 6’2 205 pound junior infielder from Niceville High School in Niceville, Florida. He was a three year letter winner at Niceville hitting .420 with five homers with 27 RBI as a junior while hitting .390 with six homers and 30 RBI as a senior. Read the rest of this entry »

2012 Baseball America Top Prospects for Summer Leagues

DURHAM, N.C.–The Southeastern Conference once again dominated Baseball America’s top prospects lists for 20 college summer leagues and Team USA, which have been released at BaseballAmerica.com. The SEC leads all conferences with 31 players on the lists, followed by the Pacific-12 (24 players), the Atlantic Coast (16) and the Big 12 (13). North Shore Navigators Move To Futures League

UPDATED  - The North Shore Navigators will have a new owner, general manager and league when they begin the 2012 summer season.

The Futures Collegiate Baseball League announced Wednesday that not only would the Lynn, Massachusetts summer league team move to the league, but that they would do so under new ownership. They made the announcement via a tweet:
