New Jersey Tech releases 2015 Schedule

The New Jersey Tech Highlanders have released their 2015 schedule which opens up with three games against George Washington.

They follow that up with a trip to Longwood the following weekend for three games over two days. UNC-Asheville welcomes the Highlanders for a four game series the next weekend.  Continue reading New Jersey Tech releases 2015 Schedule

2013 NCAA Regional Projections (April 10th)

13regionalprojections_smAs we’re now just past the halfway mark of the 2013 college baseball season, College Baseball Daily continues our countdown to Selection Monday with our latest 2013 Regional Projections.

For this week’s projections, instead of being solely compiled based on RPI like they have been done in past weeks, every aspect was taken into consideration. College Baseball Daily’s Ginger Poulson (@gingerpoulson) compiled this list after analyzing RPI, overall records, conference standings, overall talent and several other factors. Dallas Baptist set to join Missouri Valley Conference for 2014 Season

ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Valley Conference has added Dallas Baptist University as an affiliate member in the sport of baseball and DBU will be eligible to compete for the league’s automatic NCAA bid beginning in 2014, Commissioner Doug Elgin announced today. The league’s President’s Council affirmed a recommendation to extend an invitation to Dallas Baptist for baseball affiliate membership, effective 2014 season, for multi-year inclusion (six years). 2012 CBD Mid-Major Poll (May 28th)

Purdue (44-12) ends the 2012 regular season as the #1 Mid-Major. The Boilermakers will make their first NCAA appearance since 1987 and will host (Gary, Indiana) a regional as announced Sunday. Purdue went 3-0 on their way to winning the Big 10 tourney title with a win over Ohio St and two wins over Indiana including a 6-5 win in the title game. 2012 CBD Mid Major Poll (April 2nd)

For the 4th week in a row we have a new #1. Purdue (20-5) continues to play great baseball in 2012, moving up to the top spot with a 4-1 week. The Boilermakers started the week off beating Louisville 2-1 in 10 innings on Tuesday, followed by a 6-1 win Wednesday over IUPU-Fort Wayne, and taking 2 of 3 from Penn St in Big 10 play. 2012 CBD Mid-Major Poll (March 12th)

Texas St (11-4) takes over the top spot.

The Bobcats, who had thrown 5 consecutive shutouts entering the week, picked up a 3-2 win vs Rice on Tuesday before taking 2 of 3 at UT-Arlington to start Southland play…….Stetson (12-3) who had held the top spot for the first 3 weeks dropped down to #2. 2012 CBD Mid-Major Poll (March 5th)

Stetson (9-2) stays at #1 for the 3rd week in row to start 2012 going 3-1 on week. (1-0 at Bethune-Cookman; 1-0 Penn; 0-1 S. Illinois; 1-0 Georgia St)………Louisville (8-3) and TCU (4-6) each slide down one spot but not because of their play. Another club just had a very good week. Louisville slides to #3 even after winning 2 of 3 from Pepperdine and TCU goes to #4 after taking 2 of 3 from Oklahoma St.

The Stetson Hatters (6-1) stay at #1 winning 3 of 4 from Central Michigan.
