Nichols College baseball squad has been accused in a Hazing incident according to a report from WHDH in Boston. This weekend featured one of the rarest plays that I have ever seen in baseball with the old fashioned 9-3-2 triple play as Greensboro turned it against Maryville. The last laugh would come to Maryville as they won the game 5-4 in 12 innings. CBD’s Shotgun Spratling previously played for Maryville back in the day. You can check out the video of the play before. Hello CBD readers, my name is Brian Leighton and I the Head Baseball Coach at Division III Albertus Magnus College located in New Haven, CT. I am entering my tenth season at the helm following one season as a HS coach and several years as a student-assistant baseball coach at Division III power Eastern CT State. Albertus Magnus College is a small (just over 500 day students) private catholic institution located in the college town of New Haven, CT. Nearby colleges include Quinnipiac University, Southern CT State, University of New Haven, and Yale University. In addition to my responsibilities as Head Baseball Coach, I am in charge of Athletic Facilities and Operations for the department. The Minnesota Vikings are currently in negotiations to build a new stadium to replace the aging Metrodome. Currently, during the winter months the Metrodome serves as the home of the University of Minnesota baseball program and many other smaller college and high schools.
