Vanderbilt’s Xavier Turner will not play the 2015 season with the Commodores according to head coach Tim Corbin. Turner was suspended during the College World Series and has not appeared in a game since then. It is an interesting decision as Turner could have gone to a junior college and be picked in the 2015 draft.

The SEC Network will swing into its inaugural baseball season with 80 games slated to air on the network dedicated to Southeastern Conference sports, as part of the more than 100 planned across ESPN television networks (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU or SEC Network). COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou baseball and head coach Tim Jamieson have announced the team’s 2015 schedule on Friday (Jan. 16). In all, the Tigers are slated to play 10 Southeastern Conference series and have 31 home dates on this season’s schedule. In SEC play, fans will get to see the Tigers play weekend home series against South Carolina, defending SEC Champion Florida, Alabama, Ole Miss and Kentucky. In all, Mizzou will play 19 games and six weekend series against teams that qualified for NCAA Regional action a year ago.

LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Kentucky baseball team will play 56 regular season games as part of its 2015 schedule, including 32 games at Cliff Hagan Stadium and 30 games in the Southeastern Conference, it was announced by seventh-year head coach Gary Henderson on Thursday.
“We are excited about our 2015 schedule,” Henderson said. “When we start working on the schedule, it is important for us to find challenging non-conference matchups to help us get ready for the great 30-game SEC schedule. AUBURN – Auburn baseball will play 40 games against teams that participated in last season’s NCAA Baseball Tournament as part of its 2015 schedule as announced by head coach Sunny Golloway on Monday.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - University of Alabama head baseball coach Mitch Gaspard announced Tuesday the schedule for the 2015 Crimson Tide season. UA will play a full slate of 56 games, which includes 31 at the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium.
