2013 Patriot League Preseason Coaches Poll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Army baseball team was picked first in the Patriot League preseason poll which was released on Wednesday. The Black Knights earned five first-place votes and finished tied with Holy Cross atop the preseason listing, which was compiled by a vote of the league’s head coaches and sports information directors.
Army and Holy Cross, whom Army defeated in three games to claim the 2012 Patriot League tournament championship, both accumulated 45 points to tie for first in the preseason poll. The Crusaders collected six first-place votes. Read the rest of this entry »
Army set to host the New York Yankees

WEST POINT, N.Y. – A tradition that began nearly a century ago will be rekindled for the first time since 1986 this spring when the Army baseball team hosts the New York Yankees in an exhibition game at Doubleday Field on Saturday, March 30, at 2 p.m.

Holy Cross releases 2013 Schedule

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross baseball team has released its 2013 schedule, announced by athletic director Richard M. Regan Jr. and head coach Greg DiCenzo. ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Navy baseball head coach Paul Kostacopoulos has announced the 2013 schedule. A season-opening series at Norfolk State, a return to the annual Freedom Classic in Kinston, N.C., and a trip to Florida for the RussMatt Invitational highlight Navy’s non-conference schedule.
