2013 NCAA Regional Projections (April 10th)

13regionalprojections_smAs we’re now just past the halfway mark of the 2013 college baseball season, College Baseball Daily continues our countdown to Selection Monday with our latest 2013 Regional Projections.

For this week’s projections, instead of being solely compiled based on RPI like they have been done in past weeks, every aspect was taken into consideration. College Baseball Daily’s Ginger Poulson (@gingerpoulson) compiled this list after analyzing RPI, overall records, conference standings, overall talent and several other factors. Wagner releases 2013 Schedule

Jim Carone WagnerStaten Island, NY – Wagner head baseball coach Jim Carone has announced the Seahawks’ 55-game schedule for the 2013 season. Highlighting the slate are 21 games at Richmond County Bank Ballpark, a trip to 2012 NCAA Super Super Regional participant North Carolina State and a pair of early-season road trips to Richmond and Norfolk State. Bryant releases 2013 Schedule


SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Highlighted by trips to Oregon State, Ohio State and Stony Brook, the Bryant University baseball team and head coach Steve Owens have announced the club’s 2013 schedule.

The defending Northeast Conference Regular-Season champions, the Bulldogs will face arguably their toughest 56-game slate since moving to the Division I ranks in 2009. Sacred Heart releases 2013 Schedules

(Fairfield, CT) – The Sacred Heart Baseball team has announced its 2013 season schedule.

The two-time defending Northeast Conference champions begin their quest for a third straight down in the bayous of Louisiana. The Pioneers open at Louisiana-Lafayette for a three-game series March 1-3, move on to Baton Rouge for a doubleheader with Stephan F. George Brown named Monmouth’s Pitching Coach

WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – Monmouth University Baseball Head Coach Dean Ehehalt has announced the hiring of George Brown to his coaching staff as the team’s pitching coach. Brown joins the Hawks following a highly-successful amateur and professional pitching career. Brown’s four-year stint at St. John’s was punctuated with Big East Pitcher of the Year honors as a senior in addition to several other honors. His success at St. John’s resulted in being drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 27th Round of the 2008 Major League Baseball Draft. Quinnipiac to name Ryan Fuller as Assistant Coach

Quinnipiac will name former UConn infielder Ryan Fuller as their new assistant coach this week. Fuller played the first two years of his college career at UConn-Avery Point before transferring to the main UConn campus in Storrs, CT for his final two seasons being named All-Big East Second Team as a junior. HYANNIS, Mass. – Most Valuable Player Phil Ervin (Samford), Top Pitcher and Outstanding Pro Prospect Sean Manaea (Indiana St.) and Batting Champion Patrick Biondi (Michigan) top the list of players selected to the Cape Cod Baseball League Post-Season All-League Team.
