Harvard releases 2013 Schedule

HarvardCelebrationCAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The 2013 Harvard baseball schedule has been released and is available for viewing. First-year head coach Bill Decker and the Crimson will play a 40-game regular season schedule beginning March 1.

The Crimson opens play the weekend of March 1-3, playing four games in Charlottesville, Va. with two against the host University of Virginia and two against Bucknell. Continue reading Harvard releases 2013 Schedule

Dartmouth releases 2013 Schedule

DartmouthCelebrationHANOVER, N.H. — Dartmouth baseball head coach Bob Whalen announced the Big Green’s 2013 schedule today, featuring a season-opening trip to a tournament hosted by the University of Minnesota, a 10-game spring trek down to Florida as well as the 20-game Ivy League slate as Dartmouth attempts to win its sixth consecutive Rolfe Division title and third conference crown in the past six seasons. Columbia releases 2013 Schedule

ColumbiaCelebration2012NEW YORK – The Lions are set to play thirteen home games at Robertson Field at Satow Stadium in addition to 17 games versus NCAA regional opponents during the upcoming 2013 season.

2013 Penn Schedule Announced

PHILADELPHIA – The Penn baseball team and W. Joseph Blood Head Coach of Baseball John Cole released the 2013 schedule on Monday. The Quakers will take on squads from seven leagues up and down the East Coast in non-conference play, plus the always-grueling Ivy League schedule. Jeff Calcaterra named Assistant Coach at Hartford

Jeff Calcaterra has been named as Harvard’s top assistant baseball coach and recruiting coordinator by Bill Decker, the Joseph J. O’Donnell ’67 Head Coach for Harvard Baseball.

He most recently served as head coach at the University of Hartford from 2005 to 2011, winning 82 games. Prior to Hartford, Calcaterra spent 11 seasons as the full-time assistant coach at Indiana University. Continue reading Jeff Calcaterra named Assistant Coach at Hartford

Columbia promotes Pete Maki to Associate Head Coach

NEW YORK – Columbia’s Pete Maki was promoted to associate head coach recently, head coach Brett Boretti announced. Maki is in his sixth season as the Lions’ pitching coach and recruiting coordinator.

“Pete has been an enormous part of our program since the day he arrived here,” Boretti said. “His development of our pitching staff is an instrumental part of our success. I am excited to have him be our associate head coach.” Continue reading Columbia promotes Pete Maki to Associate Head Coach
