George Washington releases 2013 Schedule

GeorgeWashingtonlogoWASHINGTON – The George Washington baseball team will host 28 games at fully renovated Barcroft Park in Arlington, Va., as part of its 56-game schedule in head coach Gregg Ritchie’s debut season in 2013.

The Colonials are under the direction of a new coaching staff headed by GW alumnus, Athletic Hall of Fame inductee and former Major League Baseball player and coach Gregg Ritchie. Associate Head Coach Tom Sheridan and assistant coaches Dave Lorber and Stephanos Stroop complete Coach Ritchie’s staff. Continue reading


St. Joe’s releases 2013 Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – Saint Joseph’s head baseball coach Fritz Hamburg has announced the Hawks’ 2013 schedule, which features 24 home games on the 52-game docket.

The 2013 season will be the second year of play at John W. Smithson Field on the Maguire Campus. The opening of the new field coincided with SJU’s first-ever Atlantic 10 Championship berth and the Hawks’ first Liberty Bell Classic title. Hamburg believes this year’s slate puts the Hawks on the right path toward repeating those feats. Continue reading

Well, fall ball is done. Us upper classmen have spent the past couple months tweaking some things and just working to get better each and every single day. Our freshmen, meanwhile, used the fall as an opportunity to prove themselves deserving of a plane ticket to Tallahassee for the season-opening series at Florida State. Continue reading


Fordham releases 2013 Schedule

Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham baseball head coach Kevin Leighton announced the team’s 2013 schedule today, which will feature the first-ever Frankie Frisch Invitational, hosted at Fordham’s Houlihan Park, as well as games against Michigan, Wichita State, Georgia State, and 2012 College World Series participant, Stony Brook. Xavier releases 2013 Schedule

CINCINNATI – Xavier baseball head coach Scott Googins has announced the upcoming 2013 schedule for the Musketeers. There are 57 games on the schedule, including 24 Atlantic 10 games.
Xavier opens the season on the road at College of Charleston with a three-game series from Feb. 15-17. The Musketeers will play a total 10 road games before opening its home portion of the schedule on March 5 against Miami (Ohio). Continue reading
