Long Beach State releases 2012 Schedule

The Long Beach State Dirtbags released their 2012 schedule yesterday. They will open up the season when CAA member Virginia Commonwealth makes the trip across the country to take on Long Beach State on February 17th-19th. After a mid-week home game against area rival USC, they will take on 2011 CWS participant Cal on Feb. 24th-26th. The Dirtbags will head on the road for a mid-week game at UCLA on Feb. 28th before heading to Oregon to start a three game set on March 2nd. Indiana releases 2012 Schedule

The Indiana Hoosiers have released their preliminary 2012 schedule. They will open the season in the Big East/Big Ten Challenge in Clearwater, Florida where they will play three games from February 17th-19th against opponents to be determined. They will have the week off until they head down to the South Alabama Tournament to play three games on February 24th-26th. Cal State Fullerton Announces 2012 Baseball Schedule

Fullerton, Calif. – The 2012 Cal State Fullerton baseball schedule, headlined by an opening weekend series with College World Series runner-up University of Florida, was released Thursday by first-year Titan Head Coach Rick Vanderhook.

The Titans have a diverse 58-game slate set up with 30 of the games being played at Goodwin Field, home of the four-time national champion Titan baseball program. They will face 21 different opponents across nine conferences – from as far west as Honolulu, Hawaii, and stretching as far east as Gainsville, Florida. Tennessee releases 2012 Schedule

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee baseball program announced the full schedule for the 2012 campaign, its first under head coach Dave Serrano, on Wednesday. Highlighting the slate are 26 games against a total of 10 teams that made the NCAA Tournament last year, including home sets against Seton Hall, Alabama, Florida, Vanderbilt and Arkansas.

“We came out pretty good,” Serrano said. “I feel we will be challenged and have a good balance of home and away games. I’m excited. We want to find out about our team, so we want to challenge our team each and every weekend and in mid-week games so that we can learn some things about them and be able to prepare them to be successful in the SEC.” Continue reading Tennessee releases 2012 Schedule

Indiana State releases 2012 Schedule

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Head coach Rick Heller has announced the dates for the 2012 Indiana State baseball schedule today (August 12), a total of 57 games for the Sycamores in his third season in charge of the program.

ISU begins their 2012 campaign with nine games on the road in late February and early March, traveling to Southwest Louisiana (Feb. 17-19), Huntsville, Ala., for the Alabama A&M Tournament (Feb. 24-26) and Eastern Kentucky (March 2-4). Alabama A&M and IPFW will also be at the tournament on the final weekend of February, with matchups to be announced at a later date. Continue reading Indiana State releases 2012 Schedule
