Ranny Lowe hustles home.LONG BEACH, Calif. — Thomas Eshelman allowed only one hit in seven innings as No. 8 Cal State Fullerton took the first game of a non-conference series with rival Long Beach State, 6-0, Friday night at Blair Field.

Oldtime Baseball Game Full Of Remembrance And Hope

Something was definitely missing from Monday’s Oldtime Baseball Game in Cambridge, MA.

It wasn’t players, nor equipment, nor the fans (several hundred, if not a thousand, came out.) It wasn’t runs – though those did take a while to show up, as the Abbot Financial Management team overcame five scoreless innings to win the 19th edition of the charity game, 6-0. Continue reading
