Northern Colorado releases 2011 Schedule

GREELEY, Colo. – First-year head coach Carl Iwasaki is excited to begin his first spring at the University of Northern Colorado and feels the schedule is well tailored to the 2011 team.

The Bears have 23 home games and play non-conference games against teams in the Big 12, Pac-10, Mountain West, WAC, Summit and Southland conferences, which will prepare the club for the travel intensive Great West. Continue reading

Illinois releases 2011 Schedule

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – University of Illinois head coach Dan Hartleb announced his team’s schedule for the 2011 season Monday, with the team slated to play in the third-annual Big Ten/BIG EAST Challenge on Feb. 18-20, and the Metrodome Tournament at 2010 NCAA Tournament qualifier Minnesota. The Illini will face three NCAA Tournament teams from a year ago in 2010 – Minnesota, Illinois State and Saint Louis, and will play a three-game series at Florida Gulf Coast, which went 38-20 last season. The season start date of Feb. 18 will be the fourth-earliest start date in school history and earliest since Illinois started the 2001 season on Feb. 17. Continue reading

Campbell releases 2011 Schedule

BUIES CREEK, N.C.-Home and away contests with North Carolina State, Duke, East Carolina and UNC Wilmington, along with a home series with Northwestern and a full slate of Atlantic Sun games highlight the 2011 Campbell baseball schedule.

George Washington releases 2011 Schedule

WASHINGTON, DC – George Washington baseball head coach Steve Mrowka announced that the Colonials will host 29 games at Barcroft Park in Arlington, VA, as part of a 56-game 2011 schedule. RIVERDALE, N.Y. – Sixth year head baseball coach Kevin Leighton released Manhattan’s schedule for the 2011 campaign. The Jaspers’ slate features out-of-conference contests with powers from the BIG EAST, SEC, Atlantic 10 and Colonial Athletic Association, in addition to the always challenging MAAC slate. Vanderbilt releases 2011 Schedule

The Vanderbilt baseball team will begin the 2011 season on February 18 in San Diego.

The Commodores will take on the University of San Diego and Hall of Famer Tony Gwynn’s San Diego State Aztecs on the West Coast trip. The Dores open the home schedule with cross-town rival Belmont on February 23 before hosting Pac-10 power Stanford February 25-27. Hawkins Field will get plenty of action with 18 of the Commodores’ first 22 games in Nashville. Continue reading
