2009 College Baseball Schedules

We are now just little over two months away from opening day for Division I and for some Div II teams are a little over a month away. We are continuing to get 2009 College Baseball Schedules almost daily. Today, we have Bowling Green, Bradley, Bucknell, and Sacramento State. Continue to check back as we will have all Div I,II,III, and the NAIA schedules posted as soon as possible. CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Home series against Florida State, Georgia Tech and NC State and road trips to Florida, Virginia, Clemson and North Carolina highlight the 2009 University of Miami baseball schedule, as announced Friday by 16th-year head coach Jim Morris. The Hurricanes, who will play at the newly renovated Alex Rodriguez Park at Mark Light Field this season, open the 2009 campaign on Friday, Feb. 20 against Rutgers.

UTB/TSC will launch a tough 55-game baseball schedule January 23, featuring 36 home games and the Scorpions’ first games against NCAA Division I competition.

The Scorpions will meet The University of Texas-Pan American, a member of the NCAA Division I, in two games in Edinburg April 8 and 22.

LAS CRUCES, N.M.  – New Mexico State baseball head coach Rocky Ward announced Thursday, Dec. 11 that the 2009 NMSU baseball schedule is now official.

The schedule is highlighted by 38 home games and a match-up with defending National Champion Fresno State.  Ward is excited to give Aggie fans the opportunity to watch some quality baseball in Las Cruces.

“We are excited about this year’s schedule because of the number of opportunities for our fans to see us play,” Ward said.  We play 21 of our first 22 games at home this year and nine of our 13 weeks of the season are at home.  We also get to play the defending national champion, Fresno State in a four-game series on the road.”

A 32-game home schedule that features 13 of the first 14 games at Johnny Reagan Field highlights the 2009 Murray State baseball schedule, announced by head coach Rob McDonald on Wednesday.

Fans will get plenty of chances to see the ‘Breds early at the friendly confines of Johnny Reagan Field. The season gets underway on Feb. 20 with a three-game home stand against South Dakota State. After a midweek tilt at Memphis (Feb. 24), the ‘Breds will host a four-game series with Illinois State (Feb. 27-March 1), followed by a midweek game against Arkansas State (March 3), four games with North Dakota State (March 6-8) and a March 11 game against Mississippi Valley State.

Fordham releases 2009 Schedule

Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham baseball head coach Nick Restaino announced the team’s 2009 schedule today, as the Rams celebrate the 150th anniversary of the very first Fordham baseball team, which started play in 1859.

Except for 1944, the Fordham baseball program has played every year since 1859 and stands as the winningest program in NCAA history. The Rams, then known as the “Rose Hills”, started play on November 3, 1859, against St. Francis Xavier, in the first known collegiate baseball game to use nine players. In this anniversary season, the Rams will be competing for their fourth Atlantic 10 Championship tournament berth in the last six years. Continue reading

Elon releases 2009 Slate

ELON, N.C. – Among its 56 games for the 2009 campaign, the Elon Phoenix squad will play 30 Southern Conference games and host a total of 27 games from Latham Park. The Phoenix, under the leadership of 13th-year head coach Mike Kennedy, will play seven games against teams which were a part of NCAA post-season play in 2008. WPCM 920 AM will carry 15 regular season contests plus the Southern Conference Tournament live in 2009. Elon has also introduced season ticket prices and packages for the upcoming season.
