After an impressive 24-game winning streak to start the year the Aggies were poised for a top-eight national seed. However, after stumbling in the second half of the season, a little bit, the Aggies ended the season without a SEC Championship and without a top-eight national seed. The last 48 hours have been pretty crazy inside of college baseball. With conference tournaments wrapping up, host sites being determined and the field of 64 being picked it made our lives here at College Baseball Daily extremely busy. The Tigers just handed the Seminoles their first home sweep in quiet some time and are in a position to weasel their way into the NCAA tournament, pending a good showing in Durham. College Baseball Daily Top 25 (May 11)

In this week’s College Baseball Daily Top 25, we welcome two new teams in Oregon State and Radford and see Rice rejoin us after sweeping No. 24 Florida Atlantic University.

LSU remains the No. 1 team in college baseball after completing a sweep of previously ranked Missouri. Below the Tigers some shuffling takes place, as Louisville replaced Texas A&M as the No. 2 team in the nation, while Texas A&M fell to No. 8 after losing a series against South Carolina at home. Florida State wins rivalry series vs Miami

The eleventh ranked Seminoles entered this weekend’s series against the Hurricanes as slight underdogs but quickly made a statement that they were ready to play. There is hardly ever an underdog when the Seminoles and Hurricanes get together, in any sport.
