  1. Oregon State 18-1 (3-0) Even

The Beavers had a couple of close calls against Cal, but they came away with the sweep and remain on top. I really don’t think this team will be tested until mid-April.

  1. Florida 18-4 (2-1) Even

The Gators had a big mid-week win over Florida State, and then won 2-of-3 on the road against South Carolina. Still a little shaky, but they can prove themselves a top two team again this weekend.

  1. Stanford 14-2 Even

After a week off, the Cardinal remain in the three spot as they open up conference play this weekend.

  1. Arkansas 16-4 Up 3

The most impressive weekend by any team came from the Razorbacks who crushed Kentucky at home over the weekend in a sweep. If they can play like that every weekend, they can not only make the College World Series, but win it all.

  1. Vanderbilt 15-5 3-0 Up 7

Vanderbilt also had a very impressive weekend with a sweep on the road at Mississippi State. Just like last year, the Commodores have the talent to be a top team, it’s just finding that consistency.

  1. Kentucky 14-6 (0-3) Down 2

The Wildcats ran into a buzzsaw over the weekend and got spanked. We’ll chalk it up to a bad weekend against a great team right now.

  1. Florida State 16-4 Down 1

It wasn’t a great week for the Seminoles losing to Florida and Notre Dame. But they bounced back to win the series over the Irish. The top of the ACC is looking a little vulnerable at the moment.

  1. Ole Miss 19-2 Up 3

It was a four-win week for Ole Miss. And even though they dropped their SEC opener at home to Tennessee, they bounced back to get the series win.

  1. Texas Tech 17-5 (1-2) Down 4

After looking like a clear top four team a few weeks ago, the Red Raiders are crashing hard during this long road swing. They salvaged their conference opening series with a win on Sunday over Baylor.

  1. NC State 18-3 (5-1) Up 3

It was a huge five-win week for the Wolfpack that ended with a sweep on the road against Clemson. This team has made its case to the national media now and is on everyone’s radar.

  1. Texas A&M 17-4 (1-2) Down 3

It’s was a rough week for Texas A&M with a 17-inning loss to UT-Arlington, and then a series loss at Auburn. This team blew leads in both of their losses to Auburn. I think they’ll be fine.

  1. Clemson 16-4 (3-3) Down 2

The offense scored just one run in their first two games to NC State, and they ended up getting swept. Maybe we have to pump the breaks on this team a little bit.

  1. Auburn 19-2 Up 4

It was a huge week for the Tigers who won four games and had a series win over Texas A&M at home. Casey Mize is on the verge of doing some amazing things. If Auburn can find that solid number two, they could be a dangerous team.

  1. Southern Miss 14-4 (2-0) Up 1

Frustrating weekend for the Golden Eagles as they had to dodge some bad weather and only got two games in. But they had an undefeated week.

  1. Louisville 16-4 (3-3) Down 1

Another tough weekend for a top team in the ACC as Louisville went on the road and lost a series to Wake Forest. They did get a mid-week win over Texas Tech.

  1. UCLA 13-4 (3-0) Up 5

A couple of 1-run wins, but the Bruins got the sweep over Washington State to open up conference play, and to bounce back from a bad weekend.

  1. UCF 17-4 Down 1

The Knights lost to Miami, Fla. in the middle of the week, but destroyed Chicago State over the weekend outscoring them 38-1. They have a huge week ahead of them with two at Florida State and three at home against East Carolina.

  1. LSU 14-7 (2-1) Even

It was a very solid week for LSU with a mid-week win over South Alabama, and then a series win at home over Missouri.

  1. TCU 10-7 Down 10

The worst week of anyone in college baseball belongs to the Horned Frogs. They have fallen hard and quick. This past week they lost to Rice and then a series at home to Minnesota. Their only win over the Gophers was an walk-off in extra innings.

  1. Indiana 15-4 Up 2

The Hoosiers are currently riding a 6-game win streak after sweeping Northern Illinois this past weekend with a couple of 1-run wins.

  1. Duke 16-4 (4-2) Up 9

The Blue Devils backed up a series win over Virginia with a series win over Duke this past weekend. Clearly they are making a case to be mentioned among the best in the ACC.

  1. Virginia 13-7 (3-3) Down 2

Virginia was able to bounce back from a series opening loss to Boston College to win the next two, or else they would have taken a huge fall in these rankings. It took extra innings on Sunday for them to win the series, there are some definite concerns with this team.

  1. Oklahoma 14-8 Up 3

I still want to believe in this team, and a 4-win week is a way to make those in the media a believer again. They’ll have an even better chance to prove themselves this week with a game against Wichita State, and three against West Virginia to open Big 12 play.

  1. North Carolina 12-8 (4-2) Down 5

It was a weird week for North Carolina as they had a 1-0 win over NC A&T, followed by a 1-0 loss to Gardner-Webb. But then they outscored Pittsburgh 32-5 over the weekend in a sweep.

  1. East Carolina 16-4 Up 4

The week got off to a bad start with a 3-0 loss to VCU, but they took care of Elon on Wednesday and then dismantled Maryland over the weekend.

  1. Wichita State 13-4
  2. Stetson 17-3
  3. UNLV 18-3 (5-1)
  4. South Florida 15-6
  5. Sam Houston State 16-4 (6-0)
  6. South Alabama 11-9 (2-1)
  7. Texas 12-9 (3-0)
  8. Mississippi State 10-10 (0-3)
  9. Houston 11-8
  10. Missouri 15-5 (1-2)
  11. Illinois 11-5
  12. Missouri State 11-6
  13. Florida Atlantic 15-5 (2-1)
  14. Dallas Baptist 11-7
  15. San Diego State 13-6 (4-1)
