The NYCBL’s midsummer gathering of All-Stars officially announces the player game selections. The 2017 NYCBL All-Star Game will be played Thursday, July 13th beginning at 7pm at historic Bradner Stadium, home of the Olean Oilers. The game will be the main highlight of the day. A Home Run Derby and Pro Day will take place prior to the game.
The rosters for the All Star Game are in, the East and West are packed with a collection of upstarts who are striving to play professional baseball.
Perhaps fittingly, the Hornell Dodgers, who have the best record in the NYCBL at 20-7, lead the way with eight players selected along with the defending champions Olean Oilers who had 8 selections.
The rosters include 28 players along with 2 reserves from the East and West, respectively.
The coaching staffs of the 2016 regular season champions from each division will manage the clubs for the game. The East will be led by the Cortland Crush and the West by the Olean Oilers.
