The Crusaders are slated to compete in 51 games this spring, including 20 Patriot League games and 31 non-conference contests. The schedule includes 19 games to be played at Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field. Holy Cross will face four teams that participated in the 2016 NCAA Tournament.

“This 2017 schedule will enable our ball club to compete against some of the very best baseball programs in the country prior to the outset of our Patriot League slate,” said DiCenzo. “As we look forward to the challenge of attaining a Patriot League Championship, we are eager to begin the process of showcasing our Holy Cross student-athletes throughout the national landscape of Division I baseball.”

Holy Cross begins its 2017 campaign with 13 games on the road, starting with a pair of games at Central Connecticut State on Feb. 18-19. The Crusaders will then travel to Auburn for a three-game series (Feb. 24-26) before heading to UC Riverside for four games (March 4-7). Holy Cross will also travel to Cal State-Northridge (March 8) and play a three-game series at Southern California (March 10-12).

Holy Cross will then travel to Brown on March 15 before heading to St. John’s for a three-game series (March 18-19). On March 21 the Crusaders will host Massachusetts before heading to UMass Lowell for a single game on March 22. The Crusaders then play Yale in a four-game home-and-home series on March 25 and 26 before traveling to Hartford (March 28) and Harvard (March 29) the following week. Other non-conference opponents include Dartmouth (April 5), Rhode Island (April 12), Siena (April 19), Connecticut (April 25) and Marist (May 3).

The Patriot League schedule for Holy Cross begins with a rematch of the 2016 Patriot League Championship series, as Navy travels to Worcester on April 1-2. Holy Cross will also host Patriot League opponents Lehigh on April 8-9 and Bucknell on April 22-23. The Crusaders will play two conference series on the road against Army West Point (April 15-16) and Lafayette (April 29-30).
