Texas Tech head coach Tim Tadlock was given a new contract and a big raise according to the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal. Tadlock was given a new six-year, $4.2 million contract which was his second contract in the last three months. He will be making $700,000 over each season through 2022. This contract replaces the six-year, $2.375 million deal the two sides agreed to in May as Tadlock was a target for the University of Texas opening.
