The East Division champion Harwich Mariners lead the way with eight selections, while West Division champion Falmouth Commodores were next with six.

The All-League pitching staff is paced by B.F.C. Whitehouse Outstanding Pitcher Jeff Passantino (Lipscomb) of Falmouth, who posted a 3-0 record and led the league with a 0.64 ERA, striking out 39 batters in 42 IP.

Leading the bullpen is the league’s Russ Ford Top Relief Pitcher Garrett Cave (Florida International) of Hyannis, who was 0-2 with 10 saves. The fire-balling right-hander (clocked 97 MPH) allowed 10 hits and 13 walks, while striking out 34 in 19.1 innings.

The hard-hitting All-League team is led by the Pat Sorenti MVP Ernie Clement (Virginia) of Harwich, who finished second in the CCBL in hitting (.353) and led the league in hits (59) and stolen bases (19).

The All-League outfield is headed by Robert McNeece Top Pro Prospect Michael Gigliotti (Lipscomb) of Falmouth, who hit .310 with two homers, 18 RBI’s and led the league with 31 runs scored for the Commodores.

“The process of selecting the CCBL Year-End All League Team is deliberate and extremely specific,” said CCBL Commissioner Paul Galop. “Statistician Chris Thoms and Intern Matt Pajak methodically researched every statistic for pitchers and position players. Their attention to detail and thoroughness were extraordinary. Because of this intense analysis, we were able to carefully review every detail about every player. In the end, we are extremely pleased and satisfied that this 30 man roster is deserving of this recognition and accolades.”
