The 2016 NCAA Regionals will not end this year as there will be two winner take all games with South Carolina and UNC-Wilmington playing in Columbia while Rice faces off against LSU in Baton Rouge.

    • After last season, Arizona head coach Andy Lopez retired. The new coaching staff came in and told the senior class they will be get the group to the Regional for the first time in their career. Coach Jay Johnson delivered and then some as the Wildcats came through the loser’s bracket and defeated Louisiana-Lafayette in back to back games on Monday afternoon and evening.
    • The UCSB Gauchos routed Big East champion Xavier 14-5 to clinch a spot in the Super Regionals where they will head up to Louisville to face off against the Cardinals. The Gauchos gave up 11 runs in 32 innings but were able to score 22 to advance out of Nashville.
    • The Rice Owls took care of business on Monday defeating LSU 10-6 after beating Southeastern Louisiana 15-0. The teams will face-off at 5pm eastern time to decide who would win the Baton Rouge Regional.
    • The most scary thing of the weekend happened on Monday to LSU pitcher Austin Bain who took a comeback off his face. You can check it out below.
