The best two teams in New England Franklin Pierce and Southern New Hampshire faced off with everything on the line on Monday afternoon as both New Hampshire rivals were looking to make a return to the Division 2 College World Series. The game got off to a great start with several close calls at first base which saw a Southern New Hampshire assistant coach ejected and both managers out to argue calls.
The Ravens were able to take advantage of a tired Southern New Hampshire pitching staff with a Max Sheehan two run homer in the seventh as they picked up the 6-3 victory to advance to the Division 2 World Series.
