Eastern Michigan to name Mark Van Ameyde as Head Coach

MarkVanAmeydeMSUCollege Baseball Daily has learned that Eastern Michigan will hire current Michigan State assistant coach Mark Van Ameyde as head coach. Van Ameyde joined the Spartans program in June 2008 as the pitching coach and was elevated as to Associate Head Coach in 2011. Before joining the Michigan State staff, he spent a season as an assistant at Eastern Michigan. He also has coaching stops at Georgetown and Detroit-Mercy.

Michigan State volunteer coach Eric Roof will join him on staff at EMU.
