South Carolina Rallies For Win

NASHVILLE, TENN. – A two-out single by Max Schrock in the top of the ninth inning and a one-out solo homer by Joey Pankake in the top of the 10th helped lift eighth ranked South Carolina to a 4-3 come-from-behind win over ninth ranked Vanderbilt on Thursday evening in the first game of a three-game SEC baseball series at Hawkins Field. The Gamecocks improve to 41-13, 17-11 in the SEC with Vanderbilt now 39-15 and 16-12 in league play.

Gators Clinch Share of SEC Title in Extras

With a 6-5 victory over Tennessee in 11 innings, Florida clinched at least a share of the program’s 13th SEC Championship and secured the team’s 22nd Eastern Division title on Thursday night at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

No. 13 Florida (36-18/20-8 SEC) tied the game on a two-out double by sophomore Harrison Bader in the ninth inning and Bader scored the go-ahead run with two down in the 11th frame after stealing second and advancing around the bases on a pair of errors by Tennessee (30-21/11-17 SEC). The Gators need one more win or a loss by Ole Miss at Texas A&M this weekend to claim the league crown outright.

Bulldog Bats Lead The Way Over Tide

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Mississippi State kicked off its final weekend of Southeastern Conference play on a strong note with a 9-4 victory over Alabama Thursday night at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.

The Bulldogs pounded out 14 hits and broke open a tight game with three runs in both the fifth and sixth innings.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma State clinched at least a share of its first-ever regular season Big 12 Conference championship Thursday night as the No. 6 Cowboys opened The Bedlam Series with a 4-2 win over Oklahoma at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Gophers Top Hoosiers in Extra Inning Win

Two run-scoring doubles by Connor Schaefbauer and a one-run pitching performance by Alec Crawford and Dalton Sawyer gave the Golden Gophers a 2-1 win at No. 8 Indiana on Thursday. The 10-inning game was only the third conference game the first-place Hoosiers have lost all season.

Baylor Upsets TCU in Series Opener

WACO, Texas– Baylor baseball used a pair of three-run innings to defeat No. 13 TCU 6-3 in the series opener on Thursday night at Baylor Ballpark. The Bears’ (24-27, 8-13 Big 12) win over the Horned Frogs (36-15, 15-7 Big 12) was secured by Josh Michalec as he earned his 20th save to tie him for the Big 12 single-season saves record.
