Florida State baseball coach announced on Sunday that closer/outfielder Jameis Winston was reinstated on Sunday following his theft of crab legs from a local Tallahassee supermarket on the evening of April 29th. To avoid criminal charges, he had to complete 20 hours of community service. Until he completed his hours, the FSU baseball program suspended him.

According to Jim Henry of The Tallahassee Democrat, Winston had a visit at the DISC Village that assists in these types of programs and find places to do community service on Thursday.

Winston had completed 20 hours in only two days as he was back in uniform on Sunday against Minnesota while FSU’s last day of final exams was on Friday according to the school’s academic calendar.

Yep, nothing fishy going on here at all. He meets with the group to find some community service activities on Thursday, then works two 10 hour days on Friday and Saturday to be back on the bench on Sunday.

Oh ya, guess he didn’t have any finals on Friday as that was the last day of finals at FSU.
