Indiana’s Ryan Halstead to miss rest of season

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana right-handed pitcher Ryan Halstead will undergo season-ending knee surgery after suffering an injury during the home opener versus Xavier. Doctors expect a full recovery.

Halstead is Indiana University’s all-time leader in both career and single season saves. He closes out 11 saves in 2013 and owns a total of 23 in his career. His 76 appearances rank second all-time at IU.
